Ingredients
- 500g samp
- 250g speckled sugar beans
- 1 teaspoon salt (1 tsp)
- 1 teaspoon pepper (1 tsp)
- 10 ml oil
How to:
Step 1: Soak the samp and beans in cold water overnight to soften them
Step 2: Drain the next day and place in a heavy based saucepan with 1litre of water
Step 3: Add oil and salt
Step 4: Boil until tender
Step 5: Serve and dash with pepper to taste
Goes well with beef stew, spinach, dried corn.
